The Dakura model will keep you looking sharp at the job site. The frame wraps around your face for the perfect fit and are designed without side shields so you peripheral vision isn't compromised. The frame is made with a lightweight grilamid, nylon formula. Welders, cutting torches, and other man made UV sources can expose the eyes to UVC rays which are the most harmful type of ultraviolet radiation. The poly-carbonate lenses are specially designed for welding protecting the cornea from long term exposure to infrared light. Choose between two lens options the SW11-IR3 (12% of light passes through this lens) for light welding or SW11-IR5 (2% of light passes through this lens) for medium welding.
